Thanthai Roever College of Physiotherapy (TRCPT), With Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), was established in the year 1994 and is one more jewel in the crown of the Roever Educational Institutions, who are well known for their commitment to high standard education. The college of physiotherapy, which has now completed 26 years of existence and commitment to excellence in Physiotherapy Education, is located in the centre of the city, which is blessed with a temperate climate and excellent living conditions.

It is recognized by the government of Tamil Nadu under G.O.Ms.No 324, of Health and Family Welfare, dated 12.03.1993. The college is affiliated to prestigious “The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University” Chennai. With affiliation order Rc.No.16056/AfflnII(2)93. dated: 09.08.1994. The Master’s Programme Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) was started in the year 2007. It is affiliated to prestigious “The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University” Chennai with affiliation order Proc.No.38582/Affln.III(2)/06 dated: 09.01.2009.

The College has excellent infrastructure with electrotherapy and exercises therapy Labs for students’ practice and training and a well-equipped out-patient Department for treating patients and giving hands-on training for students with the latest equipment. The library facilities encompass Ground floor fully, and every year Rs. 2 Lakhs worth of literature is being purchased to bring the library up to date with the latest information in the field of physiotherapy.
