KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET Coimbatore) was established in 2009. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 11.44 acres of land. KPRIET Coimbatore is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is recognised by the University grants Commission (UGC). The institute is affiliated to Anna University.
